I feel extremely blessed the day I moved to the beautiful Illinois valley in 1993 from Fort Worth, Tx. I am a proud single parent of four children, two that are grown and have graduated from Illinois Valley High School. I love our schools here and how much the teachers and staff care about their students. Coming from a large city and raising my family in a small-town environment is the best decision I have ever made.
My hobbies are taking my kids and grandkids to the beach as often as I can, reading, spending time at home, and watching my children play whatever sport they are currently involved in. Usually soccer! I have volunteered with the Illinois Valley Youth soccer board since 2001. Yes, I am a soccer mom, minus the van.
